Albania is long and thin. If you fly into Tirana and spend the second week in Sarandë or Ksamil, driving all the way back just to drop the car costs you most of a day. That’s why a lot of our customers book a one-way rental.
How it works
When you search for a car, tick “Return to a different office/location” and choose where you want to leave it. The price you see for that booking is the price you pay. Then you simply leave the car at the other end and we take it from there.
Popular one-way trips
- Tirana Airport to Sarandë: land, drive down the coast at your own pace, finish the trip by the sea.
- Sarandë to Tirana Airport: the other way round, if you arrive in the south by ferry from Corfu.
- Tirana to Vlorë or Durrës: for a beach week after a few days in the city.
If you plan a loop that ends back where you started, you don’t need a one-way booking at all. Our guide to driving from the airport to Ksamil has two routes that work well as a loop.
Good to know
Pick-up and drop-off times outside our office hours (08:00–20:00) have a fixed fee of €0.00. Return the car with a full tank, the same as you got it.
